How to Actually Make Money Online: The Beginner's GuideIf you're anything like most teenagers, you probably spend multiple hours online every day, be it on a computer or a smartphone. Chances are that you are probably watching videos, surfing social media, listening to music, playing games, and/or taking surveys (not really).

Here's the thing though - you can get paid for doing all of these things online, and more, by signing up on various sites.
As a teenager (and thus someone under 18) however, you have several limitations when it comes to making money online. One of those limitations is that you won't be accepted to many popular websites such as Amazon's Mechanical Turk (MTurk) or Clickworker. In addition to this, you may also have some issues working freelance jobs on sites like Upwork or Fiverr due to your age.
In this guide, I will show you that is in fact possible to earn money online, despite these limitations. You may notice that much of the methods here can be found in the Newbie Guide by Vincent, and that is exactly correct. Many of the methods listed there can be used by those under 18, but there are some notable exceptions.
The first step - Opening up ways to withdraw your money
There are some things you will have to do before you carry on with your money-making journeys. First and foremost, since you probably don't have a credit card yet, you should aim to open a PayPal account. You won't be able to verify it completely for obvious reasons, but this only means the account will have some restrictions (something like a $2500 deposit limit and $1000 or so withdrawal limit before you have to verify by id).
You may also have to link your bank account, but that should not be a problem for most people. The only problem would occur if they ask you to verify your id once you reach those limits, as previously mentioned. If that happens you won't be able to withdraw any of the money that you have left on your PayPal account until your 18.
In addition to this, it would probably be a good idea to open up different ways of withdrawing your money, too. One of those ways is through Bitcoin. It's not something that is available on all sites that will be mentioned, but it's definitely worth opening up a Bitcoin Wallet so you at least have the option.
If all else fails, then you can always receive your money through gift cards.
